I just want to say in my simple way that I break this kind of stuff down: There’s just so many young men and women and boys and girls who have potential and are creative and smart and are amazing children who will never see any of that potential come to fruition because we are living in a society that doesn’t really care about them getting to a higher place, or being a part of society; they just crush them! And it would mean a lot that all of these children, and everyone around in all these projects that we’re surrounded by here, if they were to hear these quotations that show that they matter, and that they can be part of building society, running society … that their life could actually mean something, because right now their life isn’t going to mean much, because this society doesn’t actually care that they get to another place.
And so we need to be out here projecting BA [Bob Avakian], so that they see that there is somebody that sees that potential, that knows that they could be a part of this, and that they know for themselves that they can actually matter, and be a part of something bigger than all this. And so that’s why we think BA is important. That’s why we know BA is important. And so everyone needs to be reading this, digging into this [holding Break ALL the Chains! pamphlet], and knowing what a real revolution would be like, and a brand new society where they actually are a part of “how does this world work, how does it work for everybody,” where people aren’t crushed and oppressed. So that’s why we think BA needs to be everywhere, and we hope you do too, and give money to help us get BA everywhere, cause that’s what we need to actually do it – we need big money to actually get it out there.
