These times of danger and great turmoil—with the whole future on the line—demand that people learn about, and dig into, the revolutionary leader Bob Avakian. 

Bob Avakian (BA) has developed a new communism, a framework for human emancipation and a strategy for making a real revolution. He’s written a Constitution for the New Socialist Republic in North America which provides a sweeping vision, firm foundation and concrete blueprint for building a whole new society on a completely different foundation, with a radically different economic system and emancipating relations among people. 

Students and youth especially: If you despair when you think about the future, you need to know about, and raise your sights to, the inspiring vision of how much better life could be for the people of the world if what BA is putting forward was taken up by millions. Do you wonder if and how it’s possible to reform the system? Or do you suspect—or even firmly believe—this system must be overthrown? BA is the key to breaking open a serious societal debate on that. Think about it: What would it take to build a radically new society, without oppression, without exploitation… one where people can seriously work to develop a sustainable and equitable approach to solving the environmental crisis and the great social problems of discrimination and oppression? To really debate what it would take to build a whole radically new society moving to uproot exploitation and oppression, and enabling people to become fit caretakers of the Earth.

All of these questions—and more—are seriously and all-sidedly addressed—and answered in The Bob Avakian Interviews on The RNL—Revolution, Nothing Less!—Show. When you watch these interviews, you have a chance to meet this leader who is completely different than all the bourgeois politicians and pundits who cannot see, or will not look, beyond the confines of this horrific system. BA is hard-core for revolution, with a largeness of mind, generosity of spirit, and lively sense of humor—all of which shines through in these Interviews. 

On Wednesday, November 8: organize a group of friends to watch these together (or beforehand!). Make a plan to spread these Interviews to campuses and high schools. You can organize a showing in the cafeteria at lunchtime, or spread these materials all over your school. With The BA Interviews as a centerpiece, brainstorm other ideas. Spread these “Selected Quotations from Bob Avakian on the Middle East, Israel, Imperialism and Revolution” to history, sociology or departments that focus on the Middle East. Take the article “Bob Avakian On The Law, Justice, And Ending Oppression And Exploitation” in addition to BA’s book Constitution, Law, and Rights—in capitalist society and in the future socialist society to law schools. Maybe during lunch time or late afternoon, that can be coupled with the section from the Interviews on democracy and dictatorship or on the Constitution for the New Socialist Republic in North America.
